I disliked Star Trek Voyager for a lot of reasons. First and foremost, however, I hated the fact that the USS Voyager used to get the shit kicked out of it weekly, and be 110% by the next episode.
No continuity. Frustrating.
Battlestar Galactica, however...
Kicks ass. Damage. Watch Battle Star. They break stuff good.
Big Finish are currently selling monthly CDs of the recent run of BBC7 audio adventures. Doctor Who adventures, to be precise. Now I'm a big fan of the monthly Doctor Who CDs that they release, and they've managed to make Paul McGann's 8th Doctor quite interesting. So these 8th Doctor audio adventures look to be quite interesting. In fact, they sound quite interesting. They're great. Classic Who, done properly.
Gah. English is failing me today. Just go and buy this. And listen. And enjoy.
I know I mentioned the re-mastered Trek before, but AICN has published a bunch of images that illustrates my point on their subtly quite well:

The same shot, above the old, below the new. I like it, subtle, yet effective. Trek is not quite so aged, and looks better. And no annoying thick black line around the Enterprise any more.
While new Who isn't always that good, I always tune in. Some would have it that they're a glutton for punishment, but I choose to see the genuine goodness and potential that the show has.... so I'm interested to see what they do with this upcoming animated Who.
Yes, this is stolen from AICN. What about it?
I like this image for two reasons:
1 - The re-mastered Trek doesn't look like they've gone all Gredo-shot-first on us
and
2 - This is my ultimate vision of a sci-fi city, and it has struck a chord with me. I need this image for something. I'm just not sure what yet.
