If you actually visit the sight, as opposed to rss-ing the soul from my cold, lifeless body, then you'd see that everything looks a little different as of, um, yesterdayish.
This is because I've actually upgraded to movabletype 4.something and fixed a few thing here and there, which was wonderful fun. I especially like it when you can't rebuild everything, blah blah blah.
But enough of this. we are at v4 of this blog, and that is great. Really, it is. Have a look and let me know what you think.

I've not been idle. Well, I have been, but there are circumstances and such stuff.
Anyway. Hosting upgraded, new stuff being loaded... migration to SQL... this Easter weekend will be busy. Normal(ish) service resumed when I've finished. I'll tell you, I promise.
Found the problem with publishing, so a bunch of (old) updates should go up on the weekend.
I've been publishing quiet for the last 3 weeks, but I have been writing. Just technical problems have stopped anything from being published.
Categories are not building. I'll figure it out later, for now that type of archiving is off, and I'm just ploughing ahead.
I figured it out.
Rebuilding the categories archives is what is breaking movabletype.
Which is something I suppose... I think what I'm going to have to do is start PAYING for the software, and get some support. While I'm at it, I'll upgrade our hosting and get some mySQL happening behind, rather than this berkleydb stuff. It's all wonderful and amazing here, I can tell you. The little worker-hobbits will be doing overtime.
It'll take a while though, because I'm currently on an airplane back to the UK. See you soon.

Ha! Funny story... the movabletype database has become corrupted.
I was moving all the old posts from old blogs here for reference like, and it died.
Yep.
