So they've finally announced it. The iPhone. Not out for fucking ages anywhere near me, so I'm not going to get that het up about it.
So while it is the most beautiful phone I've even seen, something that you'd be hard pressed to argue with (although please do try), the terms seem to be... less than I expected.
It is now done. I am tired.
It would have been easier if you could have multi-selected videos and told ITunes that they were all, say, BLADE SEASON 1, and it was a TV show.
I'd like the ability to populate 1 field from another as well.
And it'd be cool if the episode number could be set to auto increment... maybe from a playlist or something.
Just would have a made the job very quick. And very easy...
... and apple, what is with the 30 second wait to apply every new set of info the first time you edit it?
Fucking Apple.
I'm aware that ITUNES7 has some problems, and I've come across them (try updating the metadata on your videos... You can only update one tab at a time, or it losses whatever you did on the non-visable tab when you apply the updates).
These problems are not my issue.
I have an obsessive-compulsive attitude towards metadata. I have to have everything updated, and everything correct. It's weird.
So Apple go an release a version of ITUNES which means that I have to spend HOURS AND HOURS retagging my videos.
Shit.
UltimaGuy writes to tell us AppleInsider is reporting that according to one Wall Street analyst over one million Windows users have switched to Mac in the first three quarters of 2005. It is speculated that these numbers are a direct result of the popularity gained through the iPod and related technologies in addition to security concerns from Microsoft. From the article: "According to checks with Apple Store Specialists, Wolf also said a larger than expected percentage of Windows to Mac converts appear to be purchasing Apple's higher-end systems and that their transition is fueled by the epidemic of viruses and malware on the Windows platform."
