It is now done. I am tired.

It would have been easier if you could have multi-selected videos and told ITunes that they were all, say, BLADE SEASON 1, and it was a TV show.

I'd like the ability to populate 1 field from another as well.

And it'd be cool if the episode number could be set to auto increment... maybe from a playlist or something.

Just would have a made the job very quick. And very easy...

... and apple, what is with the 30 second wait to apply every new set of info the first time you edit it?

Fucking Apple.

I'm aware that ITUNES7 has some problems, and I've come across them (try updating the metadata on your videos... You can only update one tab at a time, or it losses whatever you did on the non-visable tab when you apply the updates).

These problems are not my issue.

I have an obsessive-compulsive attitude towards metadata. I have to have everything updated, and everything correct. It's weird.

So Apple go an release a version of ITUNES which means that I have to spend HOURS AND HOURS retagging my videos.

Shit.

I want one:

Bigfoot introduces the Killer Network Interface card:

You think you're a hardcore gamer? Really? If you've been looking for the latest piece of hardware to give yourself the one-up, Bigfoot's got you covered. The aptly named Killer Network Interface card just might be the most unique gamer-centric component we've seen; this amped up gigabit NIC has its own 400Mhz network processing unit, 64MB of dedicated DDR RAM, a USB 2.0 port, and touts itself as one of the first consumer uses of Corporate Network Acceleration Technology. So these CAT6-melting specs have to amount to something, right? Gamers can supposedly expect to see noticeable improvements in first-person shooters as well as consistently lower ping times as the self-proclaimed "LLR Technology" offloads network tasks from the CPU to the Killer's NPU. Although pricing is currently unavailable, the tricked-out NIC will be available starting August 16th; for now we'll reserve judgment about how this thing just screams "overkill" on one of the more basic functions of any computer, and bask in its extravagant frivolity.

Found here: 20 Things You Won't Like About Vista:

feminazi writes "Computerworld's Scot Finnie details 20 things you won't like in Windows Vista, with a visual tour to prove it. He says that MS has favored security over end-user productivity, making the user feel like a rat caught in a maze with all the protect-you-from-yourself password-entry and 'Continue' boxes required by the User Account Controls feature." From the article: "In its supreme state of being, Microsoft knows precisely what's best for you. It knows that because its well-implemented new Sleep mode uses very little electricity and also takes only two or three seconds to either shut down or restart, you want to use this mode to 'turn off' your computer, whether you realize it or not. It wants to teach you about what's best. It wants to make it harder for you to make a mistake."

Two of these look the bollox for the cards in that machine I'm talking about...

Found here: Windows Vista Ultimate: $450 US?:

We have absolutely no way of confirming the information ourselves, but according to iTWire, we can expect to really pay out the nose for the most ultimate version of Windows ever conceived, Windows Vista Ultimate. Like, say, something to the tune of $450 US. Yeah, we know that's a lot, but we're assuming that's for the single-license full install retail MSRP; and when you consider the fact that the single-license full install retail MSRP of XP Pro is still $300 US, it's not too drastically unrealistic. Don't get us wrong, we're not exactly endorsing snapping up operating systems that cost more than the machines they run on but, you know, it is Ultimate freaking Vista, dude. Oh, and apparently Office 2007 Ultimate will set you back $679 US, too. Don't get dizzy now, just get your company to pick 'em up for you and you'll be well on your way to the Ultimate Microsoft suite which might have otherwise been used to put a nice down payment on a private jet.
