I'm on holiday at the moment.
As the 10+ (wow, have I ever shed readers) regulars know, when I'm on holiday bolgging doesn't go DOWN, it goes UP. Expect regular pieces of crap to be posted.
And yes, as I'm on holiday it's pretty certain that there will be a redesign taking place... especially since I finally go SUBVERSION to work.

Noxious fumes blocking my sweet sun?
Not sure, but it's a nice photo I've taken. However a lesson in the evils of instant photography; you still have to take time to compose, which I almost did, but nearly didn't.
The tree and the building and the whatever else tainting my art shouldn't be there, yet I was with it enough to have the light, the subject, in the middle.
I could edit this, but that'd be cheating.. and I don't like cheaters.

Oh, and I almost forgot, all the writing and stuff that was on the little PC thing haas been (or will be) published at the same time. Post count will rise, because I'm not that slack, I've just been too busy writing shit to fix minor technical issues.

Yeah. Not so much I can say to that really, other than, uh, yeah.

Everyone is more amazing than me.
Wait for it. This time it's a little different. Not the normal self-depreciation you've come to expect.
I'm shocked, and starting to enjoy the world again. Like a child, mouth open… just sat there staring. Everything is new and shiny, and totally amazing. People have these hidden powers that I have, until now, been unable to see. That person there glows with a sort of hidden radiance. She can read minds, he can life a lot of weight. She can stop hearts with a smile. He can make people laugh.
I can't do any of that stuff. I, apparently, can't even write a sentence at the moment.
But look over there... a child is breathing happiness into everything she touches, and the mother is floating down the street, one nervous eye on the child, another on the road ahead… where the sun is beginning to set, painting the world a magical colour. As the sky touches to ground I see a couple generating their own magic, hand in hand, all happy. It's a beautiful scene. Like I said, I've got nothing, they've all got something. It's wonderful. I'm alone and it's wonderful. They're all so full of energy; I smile at a passing teenager, which surprises me by smiling back. The world is full, and the people are fuller, and it's all so happy, and there's passion and power and magic and…
I apply my new discovery to life. It's not just me vs. the new model. It's me vs. an entirely new clique, and a way of life. As we've established I'm less amazing than everyone, so unless I eat a lot of shreddies nothing new and powerful is ever going to happen, is it?
Hm. Children, wake up. I guess I'll just have to adjust, and all of that malarkey.
Oh, and I'm not really doing anything this weekend, if anyone wants to hang out with a looser.
There is a challenge. Some of us have quit drinking for a while. We did this yesterday.
