I normally hate moving. That was until today when Joel and I met our new neighbour that we live on top of.
Vanessa Nimmo from Big Brother 5.
Or rather:

We didn't know this when we met her. We just knew she was hot. We have even written a song about her hotness. I thought it was the most awesome thing ever that there was some model living beneith us.
Then we got bored while packing at the old house. While chatting to a mate about how awesome it would be to live with someone that gorgeous near you, and decided to google her.
I asked google: Vanessa Nimmo?
Google replied: Results 1 - 10 of about 25,200 for vanessa nimmo. (0.03 seconds)
Wow.
Go here for her Big Brother profile
Oh, and here for a nice story on her
It gets better.
Some fuckers keep mailing me about social networks. It drives me fucking crazy.
So I've decided to see if they are bollocks. I'm going to try something called Hi5.
Anyone else tried it yet?
I'm sort of vaugly aware of these social network things, and they have interested me somewhat, but I hate filling in forms, so I've never bothered.
I know there are better ones, but someone keeps inviting me to that... so I'm going to try this one. If I like it, I shall start adding myself in others.
I'll let you know.
When you're overwhelming negative and condescending about most things it's very, very hard to say something positive about anything without sounding like your indulging in some serious hero-worship, and all the fellatio that normally entails.
So understand this. I'm not sucking anyone off, ever. I do know people that will do that for you though, they don't charge much.
I really, really enjoyed Ben Lee.
It was a small 400 (or so) person affair. Lovely and intimate, with the little accoustic guitar going and everything like that. Hey, the man could even chat to the crowd in such a special way that it felt likee he was one of us, rather than another breed altogether up there on the stage.
I cannot rave enough about these people and the their music. Go and buy now.
We ended up backstage. I know someone (well Lara's parents). That was weird. So weird we forgot to get any photos. Except this:
(Ben is in the doorway and Lara is sat on the couch).
I'm not in love with Ben and Lara. But I could be. Very easily.
If Ben Lee comes to your town go. If you see these people, be nice and give them money because being this good deserves it.
So I've had a pretty interesting week recently. Coinsiding with the slow launch of the new site slightlydisgruntled, I've also had my birthday and been to a couple of amazing, but somewhat quiet gigs.
I'll not be fully reviewing the gigs, but you can bet that I'll blog about them at least... just not today because
1 - Too tired
2 - It's the D's stag do
Gah. Stag. There will be a post tomorrow, and it will be funny with awesome photos. Maybe. The old camera took a dive last week, and I've not ordered another... yet.
But yeah, I'm back. It feels good.
